A one day trip to Sandakan
Sandakan is formerly known as Elopura and the second largest city after Kota Kinabalu. Although i am a Sabahan, i never visit Sandakan and i think everyone should least visit one in their lifetime 😁. So, here i planned a day trip to Sandakan with my family. Normally, as a Sabahan we can self drive 6 hours to Sandakan but we opted for a flight since we got a cheap round trip for RM136 for 4 person and it's only took 45 minutes from KKIA. I hate a long winding road trip as i can get car sickness easily. During our flight, there is a lot of passenger wearing a mask in fear of Covid-19 but i didn't bother wearing mask at all 😷. (To be honest i am thankful our plan goes smoothly)
Upon arrival at the Sandakan, we rented a car for an easier navigating around Sandakan by our own. It is an effective way to reach all places that we plan to visit and use Google map at our ease 😎. If you plan to visit Sandakan, i would recommend to rent a car which is a lot easier unless you are on a short business trip then get a Grab car.

We have to exclude our visit to Sepilok Orang Hutan Rehabilitation Centre due to time constrain and we forgotten to check the orang hutan feeding time. I think it would be great if you're able to see orang hutan during the trip. So guys, don't forget to check the schedule if you plan to visit in the near future.
